Marketing Cloud Winter ’27 Release: What You Need to Know

Winter is almost here, and it’s bringing our biggest wave yet of agentic capabilities to Marketing Cloud. This release pushes deeper into autonomous discovery, planning, content creation, and campaign optimization, all designed to move marketers from managing mechanics to owning strategy. Here’s what’s new. Account Discovery Agent Buying decisions are rarely made by one person, but most marketing tools still treat them that way. Account Discovery Agent solves that by identifying, monitoring, and analyzing engagement across an account’s entire buying committee, not just isolated individuals. Living natively inside Salesforce, it looks directly at CRM data to summarize accounts and opportunities and flag who’s engaging (and who’s going dark) — giving sales and marketing teams a shared, real-time view of account-level buying signals and sentiment. Account Discovery Agent goes GA in October ’26. Campaign Agent: Agentic Content Producing on-brand, multilingual content across every channel used to mean multiple briefs, multiple reviewers, and multiple delays. Campaign Agent: Agentic Content transforms campaign intent directly into personalized, on-brand, multilingual content across Email, SMS, RCS, and MMS, grounded in your customer data and brand guidelines. It’s vibe-first: the agent generates channel-ready variations simultaneously, with approvals and brand compliance built in from the start. Campaign Agent: Agentic Campaigns Preset, hand-built journeys can only account for so many paths. Campaign Agent: Agentic Campaigns replaces them with goal-driven campaigns that adapt to every customer’s context in real time. Marketers set the outcome they want and let the agent orchestrate the rest, freeing them to focus on strategy instead of managing campaign mechanics. Campaign Agent is GA now. Personalized Paths in Flow Static journey sequences treat every customer the same way. Personalized Paths in Flow routes each customer down the path most likely to drive conversion, based on their behavior and a custom conversion metric you define — moving journeys beyond fixed sequences into intelligent, adaptive experiences. Personalized Paths in Flow goes GA in October ’26. Mobile App Flash Sending When breaking news or a service disruption hits, speed is everything. Mobile App Flash Sending delivers urgent, time-sensitive alerts to up to 5 million mobile app users in as little as 90 seconds, built for the moments existing sending speeds weren’t designed to handle. Mobile App Flash Sending goes GA in October ’26. Headless Marketing Marketers increasingly want to work in whatever agent or interface they already use. Headless Marketing lets you execute campaigns, loyalty programs, personalization, and data pipelines across Marketing Cloud and Data 360 with the agent and interface of your choice, via the Headless 360 MCP Server connecting MC Next to any AI agent — ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Slack, and more — through open, context-enriched APIs. Headless Marketing goes GA in October ’26. Sender Rating Score, Alerts & Recommendations Deliverability problems are far easier to fix before they tank your sender reputation. Sender Rating Score, Alerts & Recommendations lets you set alert thresholds for deliverability metrics and an aggregate sender rating score; when a metric crosses a threshold, you get targeted, guided recommendations to remediate and monitor recovery — shifting marketers from reactive troubleshooting to proactive protection. GA October ’26. Dig Deeper This is just a preview of everything shipping this release.
