MineBench Sol and Sonnet similarity
There is something that made me curious. For some reason both Sonnet 5.5 abd Sol 6.1 try to add a shadow bahind the knight benchmark. While Astra and Opus don't. It is really curious, what makes the "lower tier" models attempt to add a shadow. Maybe just a coincidence, but if not then somehow making the model cheaper also gives them something that makes them understand light direction and shadows? Ofc they both did a bad job but the idea exists inside the model.
